Not sure on what planet I was on when this fab programme first hit the UK tv screens, but I missed it. However, my buddy Liam has been a fan since the first series (2001) and recently lent me the whole first series on DVD. I am completely hooked! Like Frasier I could sit and watch episode after episode back to back. Now, I haven't seen beyond the 12th episode so don't spoil it for me but does it get better?

Most mornings I end up running down the road to catch my bus and the drivers know me and often stop after the official stop to pick me up. It is not that I don't get up on time (well most days) it is that sneaky last quarter of an hour. One minute I look at the clock and it is 8.10am or 8.15 and I think "hmmm, ten minutes to go" and then my watch disapeers or I forget where I left my work pass or my cheapo bus pass is no longer in the wallet and other such vanishing tricks. What seems like a second later and the kitchen clock now says it is between 8.25am and 8.30am! You've guessed it, exactly the same time I should be at the bus stop with all the school kids and sleepy adults waiting to go into Nottingham. Where does that time go?
