Decided yesterday to ditch/cancel/get rid off the eBay shop I had set up selling Lavender products. I took me ages to do all the promotional photograghy and buy the items wholesale to sell on and also spent a lot of my annual holiday making French Lavender bags in my kitchen. Thank goodness for work colleagues who have brought from me privately and friends and neighbours otherwise I would be very p*ssed off. My prices were very reasonable for the items and postage and I worked on tweaking the site for eight weeks and trying to attract custom with some great help form folks on their discussion boards. After all that time and only three sales through the shop site i decided to cut my eBay shop losses and continue to sell privately. I will continue to trade through eBay in the auctions selling and buying incidental bits and pieces but not bother with a shop.

less than two weeks to go

Sometimes time goes so quickly. In two weeks time I will have already performed in Charley's Aunt for three nights. We are at the culmination of our rehearsals and still some way to go yet to be at performance standard. At this stage my years of experience tells me that those involved suddenly realise the tightness of the schedule and work hard to get things theatrically right. I am looking forward to playing the character Brassett and I think that the weeks run will be great fun.
