I used to have a typewriter many years ago and made so many spelling mistakes known as typos as I was learning to write creatively.In these days of blogging and the internet and computers I only have one thing to say.

My partner is a writer and has just persuaded my 91 year old mother to give him her old typewriter. She wouldn't be able to even tap the keys anymore but was still pathetically sad at letting it go. (She never was a good typist, but she does like writing.) Apparently he can't write creatively in the same way on the computer - which I don't get as my typing was always atrocious. I can't write without a computer, but I like handwriting although it is terrible now.
Now... we have to find someone who fixes typewriters!
